2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO 4X4

The 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee is listed with a salvage certificate and “REAR END” as the auction’s primary-damage classification. The visible damage is concentrated on the left rear side, which supports the stated rear-end damage classification. However, the salvage-certificate status cannot be confirmed from exterior photographs. The left rear quarter panel has severe crushing, deep creases, and extensive deformation around the wheel arch and below the left rear lamp. The trailing edge of the left rear door has a broad dent with multiple creases. The left rear tail-lamp assembly is broken, with exposed internal sections and an irregular damaged edge. The left rear bumper corner is scraped, cracked, and separated along its lower section. Additional linear scuffing and paint scraping are visible across the damaged quarter-panel and bumper areas. A thorough inspection should be performed to check for damage behind the quarter panel and bumper, including the rear body structure, wheel-arch area, suspension, wheel and tire, lamp wiring, parking sensors if equipped, and alignment. The vehicle’s operational condition, airbag system, and mechanical systems are not established by these findings. Several NHTSA recalls are associated with 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles. Recall 18V332000 concerns a wiring defect that could prevent cruise control from disengaging; cruise control should not be used until the required software update has been confirmed.
