The auction record lists a salvage-title certificate and identifies the primary damage as “REAR END.” Stage 1 reports that the visible extensive deformation and missing components support the unverified rear-end damage claim. However, the salvage-title status cannot be confirmed from exterior photographs alone. The rear of the vehicle has severe collision damage. The rear bumper cover is missing, including the left rear corner, leaving the lower rear body structure, reinforcement, and internal components exposed. The exposed rear reinforcement and adjacent metal are visibly bent and deformed. The lower half of the rear liftgate is heavily crushed inward across its width, with deep creases, sharp folds, distorted edges, and an uneven license-plate recess. Both lower rear body corners are substantially deformed, and the lower rear cross-member area appears distorted. The left rear quarter panel and wheel-arch area also show significant creasing and deformation, with the outer trim and bumper components missing and inner wheel-arch components exposed. Recall 18V131000 applies to certain vehicles equipped with a 2.4-liter engine and concerns a potentially cracked oil-pump housing/balance-shaft module that could cause engine failure and stalling. Recall 18V731000 applies to certain 2017–2018 Renegade 4x2 flex-fuel/E85 vehicles with a 2.4-liter engine and concerns possible fuel-pressure loss and stalling. The vehicle’s exact engine and fuel-system configuration, as well as the completion status of these recalls, should be verified by VIN with an authorized Jeep dealer. Given the severity of the rear structural-area deformation and the extent of the missing components, a thorough inspection of the rear body structure, reinforcement, liftgate alignment, wheel-arch areas, wiring, lighting, suspension, and related mechanical systems is recommended before purchase or repair approval.
