2016 JEEP RENEGADE LATITUDE 4X2

The vehicle is a 2016 Jeep Renegade listed by the auction with a salvage-title designation and “REAR END” as the primary damage. The rear-end damage claim is supported by the visible findings: the rear bumper cover is severely crushed and heavily scuffed across the center and right lower sections, with a large irregular opening and damaged edges. A bumper-mounted component or other bumper material is hanging beneath the right side, and a large molded rear-bumper component is detached and lying on the ground behind the vehicle. The lower rear liftgate panel also has a horizontal crease and localized deformation above the bumper. The steering-wheel covering shows extensive peeling and abrasion around the rim. No other findings were provided. The salvage-title status itself cannot be confirmed from the photos. Two official recalls are listed for this model year. One concerns certain aftermarket Daystar rear control-arm brackets used with a 1.5-inch spacer kit; improper welds could allow the rear axle to shift. The other concerns vehicles equipped with the factory-installed trailer-hitch package, where insufficient fasteners could allow the hitch assembly to separate.
