The 2016 Jeep Compass is listed with an auction primary-damage classification of FRONT END and a SALVAGE CERTIFICATE condition. A listed safety recall, campaign 16V907000, applies to certain 2016 Jeep Compass vehicles manufactured from May 9, 2016, through July 15, 2016. The crankshaft or camshaft sensor may operate intermittently and cause the engine to stall, increasing crash risk.
