The front bumper cover, outer front fascia, and grille are missing, exposing the front reinforcement, cooling components, radiator and condenser area, wiring, and mounting structures. Multiple lower front plastic panels and covers are also missing or displaced, with loose plastic components and wiring visible below the reinforcement. Both front fenders are absent, exposing the inner wheelhouses and front-end components. The front-left upper lamp/daytime-running-light assembly is missing. Wheel-arch trim and portions of the wheelhouse liners are missing on both sides, leaving the wheel openings and inner components exposed. The visible front-door exterior handle is also missing, with its opening and mounting area exposed. The extent of any damage to concealed structural, mechanical, cooling, lighting, or electrical components should be determined through a thorough physical inspection before repair or purchase. An official NHTSA recall applies to certain 2019–2021 Hyundai Kona vehicles equipped with the 2.0L Nu MPI engine. The piston oil rings may not have been properly heat-treated, potentially causing engine damage, stalling, or an oil leak and fire risk. Hyundai’s stated remedy is inspection and, where necessary, engine replacement, together with installation of Piston Ring Noise Sensing System software. The vehicle’s engine configuration and recall remedy status should be verified by VIN.
