Audi A4 Allroad

Unlike the sedan, every US Allroad is strictly quattro by default — there is not a single front-drive one in the stock. The older ones (B8) run permanent Torsen, the newer (B9) Quattro Ultra. In the US it comes only with the 2.0 TFSI (248–261 hp) and a 7-speed S-Tronic; there is no US diesel Allroad.

It rides about 34 mm higher than the regular wagon on specific springs and dampers — a unique, comfortable setup, but with potentially costly repairs at high mileage.

The big catch is the bodywork: the contrasting wheel-arch trims, the specific sills, the Allroad grille and the underbody skid panels are unique to the version. If a side or front hit is missed in the photos, these plastic panels are hard to source in the yards here and often have to be bought new at a premium — unlike the mainstream sedan.
