The 2018 Porsche Macan is listed with a salvage certificate and the auction’s primary damage designation is “SIDE.” Visible side deformation supports the stated SIDE damage code. However, the salvage certificate status cannot be confirmed from the photographs. The visible-side rear door outer panel has a large, deep dent with pronounced horizontal and diagonal creases across the middle and lower sections. The paint remains visibly present over the deformed area. The rear quarter panel ahead of and above the rear wheel arch also has broad inward deformation with multiple sharp creases.
