The 2014 Mercedes-Benz E is listed with a salvage title and “FRONT END” as the auction’s primary damage classification. Stage 1’s photo review found visible front-end collision damage consistent with that primary-damage claim; however, the salvage-title status cannot be confirmed from exterior photographs. The most severe damage is concentrated on the left front corner. The left side of the front bumper cover is torn, displaced, and missing sections, with exposed mounting areas and separated lower trim. The left front headlamp has a broken lens and exposed internal components, while the surrounding left front fender is crushed and deformed around the headlamp and wheel arch. The front-left edge of the hood is raised and irregular, with uneven gaps around the headlamp and fender. The lower front bumper trim and grille-edge piece are detached and hanging below the bumper. The driver steering-wheel airbag is deployed, and an additional fabric airbag is deployed below the steering column in the driver footwell. The right rear bumper corner also has a crushed and indented area with scuffing and an irregular contour. A thorough inspection should include the front structure, cooling and lighting systems, suspension and steering components, hood and bumper mounting points, wiring, and the complete restraint system. Airbag-system replacement and post-repair diagnostic calibration may be required.
