2017 MERCEDES-BENZ E AMG E43

The 2017 Mercedes-Benz E was listed with a certificate-of-title condition and an auction primary-damage classification of “minor dent/scratches.” Stage 1 reported that the visible evidence does not fully support the minor dent/scratches classification: the photos show separated front bumper-cover material and apparently detached lower rear bumper trim. Stage 1 also noted that the certificate-of-title status cannot be confirmed from exterior photographs. At the left front bumper-to-fender junction below the headlamp, the bumper-cover edge is visibly separated from the adjacent fender. An irregular open gap exposes a dark inner area beneath the headlamp. This is assessed as moderate collision damage. At the lower rear bumper diffuser/trim, a section of trim appears detached and hangs below the bumper, with an open gap around the affected area. This is also assessed as moderate collision damage. A physical inspection is recommended to check the bumper mounts, retainers, surrounding body panels, and any components behind the affected areas, as well as to verify the vehicle’s title status and overall condition.
