The 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLS is listed with a salvage certificate and “REAR END” as the auction’s primary-damage classification. The visible rear-end damage supports the stated primary-damage claim; however, the salvage-certificate status cannot be confirmed from photographs. The rear trunk lid is severely deformed, with multiple large creases, uneven lid-to-body gaps, and a displaced lower edge above the rear bumper. The rear bumper cover, particularly on the left and center, is severely crushed, scraped, torn, and detached from the vehicle. Open gaps expose internal bumper components, while sections of the lower bumper hang below the body. The left rear tail lamp assembly is broken, with missing lens and housing sections and exposed internal components. The left rear body corner and lamp surround also show severely distorted panel edges, irregular gaps, and deformed surfaces. In addition, lower bumper trim on the right side is displaced and hanging below the bumper, leaving an exposed opening around the outlet area.
