The auction record lists this 2024 Audi Q5 with a salvage certificate and “FRONT END” as the primary damage classification. Stage 1 reports that the visible front-end collision damage supports the FRONT END classification; however, salvage-certificate status cannot be confirmed from exterior photographs. The left front corner has severe damage. The left front fender is heavily crushed and sharply deformed around the wheel opening, with inner wheel-arch components exposed and sections of the wheel-arch liner missing. The left front bumper cover is torn and displaced, with broken or missing sections exposing components behind it. The left headlamp assembly is broken and displaced, and lower bumper and wheel-arch trim pieces are missing. The left front hood edge is creased and raised above the adjacent body panels. The left front wheel and tire are turned sharply outward relative to the vehicle body. A detached black plastic panel is also visible on the ground below the front bumper. The driver steering-wheel airbag and the left side-curtain airbag are deployed. The vehicle should therefore be treated as requiring comprehensive collision repair, including inspection of the steering and suspension, wheel-arch and front-end structures, lighting and electrical systems, airbag and restraint systems, and any components behind the visibly damaged areas. NHTSA records list the following recalls applicable to certain 2024 Audi Q5 vehicles: - Recall 23V842000: The 220V/240V compact charging cable may overheat when used with certain charging settings. Audi’s stated remedy is a replacement cable with a temperature sensor; the interim guidance is to avoid using the 220V/240V compact charging cable and use the 110V cable or public charging stations. - Recall 24V251000: A loose electrical connection in the front passenger-seat occupant-detection system may deactivate the passenger airbag. The remedy is replacement of the occupant-detection system control module. - Recall 25V080000: The high-voltage battery may overheat, creating a fire risk. The recall involves diagnostic monitoring and a later battery remedy; affected vehicles may be instructed not to charge until the final repair is available. - Recall 25V294000: On certain Q5 Quattro vehicles, cylinder-head-cover screws may loosen and allow an oil leak. Dealers are to inspect and replace the screws as necessary.
